I haven’t been in ministry long, but I’d be lying if I said the thought of walking away never crossed my mind.
Two things that keep me:
1) - God. I truly feel called to this line of service, even when I sometimes feel like a fraud. I always try to tell God there are better people, teachers, and preachers; why do you need me?
The answer is that there are specific people that I am called to, and they remind me every time that there’s a role that I play in their season. It might not be a permanent role, but it’s essential.
2)—You, His people. If the only role I play is opening your mind up to the possibility of more and helping you join a local church plant or find a local pastor to shepherd you, then I am fulfilling my purpose.
If, at some point, you’re not getting any value from this platform, I invite you to keep seeking. You are in 100% control of your spiritual journey; when it’s time, it’s time.
There are so many books in the Bible and doctrines to go over that once a week is inadequate to cover it all. If there are topics you wish to cover more in-depth, contact me. We can do this together.
The #1 priority of RCLN is to reconcile souls to Christ, to be a place for lost people to be found and to rekindle their relationship with God, and to disciple people who hear the name Jesus for the first time, and open their Bible or praying for the first time.
We’ve come so far, but coming far gives you a responsibility not to leave people behind. By God's grace, I will leave no one behind.
I am at your service.
